We have two separate accounts. One for payroll and and one for bookkeeping. Need to file 1099s in the payroll account--how to import data from bookkeeping to payroll?

I'm here to share information about uploading or importing your contractors' data to QuickBooks Online (QBO) and help you file 1099s.

Importing data from QBO to your payroll account is unavailable, However, you can run a 1099 report of your contractors for guidelines and you'll manually enter in to your payroll account.

Here's how:

1. Go to Reports on menu ☰.
2. Click or search for 1099 Transaction Detail Report.
3. Make sure to select the date.
4. Click on Run Report.

Once everything is set, you can now create and file 1099s with QBO
