We still have not received our refund of $2029.15 Quickbook supposedly processed on 09/02/2022 following a direct deposit not been paid. Any idea who can help us?

Quickbook debited our account to pay our employees direct deposit on 08/26/2022. I spent more than 4 hours with them and the finally approved a refund due by 09/09/2022 but we still have not seen any. I called to ask where our refund was. An employee told me he has to call their bank to "put a trace" on the refund. He returned to the phone after 45 minutes to tell me he got disconnected from Bank of America. Nobody has reached out to me from Quickbook since. It has been 10days now

I'll share some information about unpaid direct deposits to employees, basile.

 

There are certain factors that you'll have to consider why direct deposit didn't go through.  Normally, this can happen for some reason. I've outlined them in bullets:

  • Insufficient funds
  • The account is closed
  • Invalid account number
  • Unable to locate the account
     

Although as you mentioned earlier, you're trying to follow up for an approved refund. You'll want to reach out to our support team so they can double-check your account. Aside from that, they have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment. Here's how to reach them:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to Help (?).
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.
