Question

We use a 4 decimal place hourly rate. It has changed to 2 decimal places this year. How can I get the hourly rate back to 4 decimal places? ie: $1.4321

Hello there, @local728-iatse72.

The decimal point in QuickBooks Online is a default in the program, in which the option to change the format of your hourly rate is currently not an option.

I can see how it would be helpful to have the ability to use four decimal places for your hourly rate. In the meantime, I recommend sending this request straight to our product engineers through feedback.

To send feedback, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.
