What if payroll history is not available. I want to update and not have to send 22 pages of payroll history to be updated by support. Help?

Let me help you clear things up about handling payroll tasks in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Lainer. This way, you can update your payroll history within the program.

You can only input or edit historical payroll data in QBO if no paychecks have been submitted yet. If payroll history is unavailable, but you have previously completed payroll, you'll need to contact our Payroll Support Team for assistance in updating the payroll in question.

Please note if you have prior data within this year, you'll need to enter them in the system to ensure correct annual federal tax forms moving forward.
