Once you've added a pay schedule to your employee, you cannot remove it. Instead, use a different one to avoid confusion. May I know what specific area you have issues with? In the meantime, here's how you can set up, assign, and update a pay schedule:

1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
2. Select your employee.
3. From Employment details, select Start or Edit.
4. From the Pay schedule ▼ dropdown, select the pay schedule for the employee moving forward. Or, to create a new pay schedule, select + Add pay schedule.
5. Fill out the appropriate fields. Then select Save.
6. When you're done, click Save.

Please know that you'll have to select or enter the correct pay period ending when editing the pay period.  On the other hand, QuickBooks provides general answers when you enter a specific keyword on the Help function. 1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
2. Go to Help (?).
3. Select Contact Us.
