What should I do if Auto mileage tracking is on but hasn't tracked any trips in the last two weeks?

I'll lay down a couple of solutions to sort auto mileage tracking but not tracking trips.

In (QBO), you can only track mileage if you're signed in as a user with admin privileges for the company file. Since there were missing trips, these are usually caused by the following:

• Unconsciously turned off the Auto-mileage tracking.
• The activity log on your phone has been cleared, which results in closing all the applications you have opened.

To have this issue fixed, make sure that:

• Auto-mileage tracking is enabled on the mobile application.
• The mobile app is updated to its latest release.
• The location services or GPS are enabled.
• You're logged in to the correct QuickBooks account while tracking the trips.
• The internet connection is enabled on the mobile device.

For now, we can manually add the missed trips in the last two weeks. Let me show you how:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online in a web browser.
2. Go to the Mileage or Trips menu.
3. Tap Add Trip, then select Create Trip.
4. Add the trip date, starting and ending locations, distance, and purpose.
5. Choose the vehicle you used.
6. Press Save.
