There are certain situations that our Payment Risk Management team needs extra time to review transactions further. This usually happens if there's something unexpected occurs. Examples of these reasons are:
When your payment processing exceeds the established maximum dollar amount expected on your account
When a transaction is processed after several authorization attempts and failures
When our systems identify processing patterns that pose a risk to any of the parties involved: You, your customer, or Intuit
When wrong information is entered
Please know that we're obligated to protect the interests of all parties involved in the payment process.
