My client paid on an invoice I sent and now the payment is with (6) days later

I know the reasons why payment is withheld, @tlhillinc-gmail-. I’m here to share them with you.


There are certain situations that our Payment Risk Management team needs extra time to review transactions further. This usually happens if there's something unexpected occurs. Examples of these reasons are:

 

  • When your payment processing exceeds the established maximum dollar amount expected on your account
  • When a transaction is processed after several authorization attempts and failures
  • When our systems identify processing patterns that pose a risk to any of the parties involved: You, your customer, or Intuit
  • When wrong information is entered


Please know that we're obligated to protect the interests of all parties involved in the payment process.
