I can help you with exporting your data to TurboTax for free, @megstevens1212

You must be subscribed to TurboTax Self-Employed bundle, your subscription covers the cost to file your taxes with TurboTax Self-Employed. Refer to this article on how to upgrade your existing subscription: Upgrade to the QuickBooks Self-Employed and TurboTax Self-Employed bundle.

Once done, go back to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account to send your info to TurboTax once again. Check out this article for detailed guidance: Send QuickBooks Self-Employed tax info to TurboTax Self-Employed or Live.

Then, here's some information about the information that will not be exported from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to TurboTax Self-Employed that you'll need to adjust manually: Why some deductions don't automatically export to TurboTax Self-Employed

In case you've already upgraded to TurboTax Self-Employed and still asked to pay for the filing fee, then I suggest reaching out to our Customer Support for QBSE. They can take a look at your account and verify this information in a secure environment and help you resolve it: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support

I'm always here if you need more help exporting your data to TurboTax. Let me know by leaving a reply below. Have a great rest of the day!
