When I try to input this payroll checks my last payroll is still showing up???

Last payroll has been deposited - taxes paid, all, yet it is still showing up and asking if I want to write a second check for this payroll

I can tell why the last payroll check is showing up, Nursemed.

 

This happens when the pay period of your last payroll check is the same as the one you're trying to create. See the screenshot below for your visual guide.

 

 

If the last payroll check has the incorrect pay period, you need to contact our QuickBooks Live Support Team. They can delete the paycheck and create a new one. This needs to be done since you've already paid taxes.

 

Here's how to contact them:
 

  1. Click the Help (?) icon.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief discussion of your concern, then click Continue.
  4. Choose Call us.
  5. Click Get a phone number.
  6. Dial the number provided on the screen, then click OK.

 

If the last payroll check has the correct pay period, you can select a different one for the next payroll run.
