I'm here to share details on withdrawing funds from your account for payroll, @hampahampa1. This way, you can keep your payroll account updated and make sure you'll be able to pay your employees on time.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), the Direct Deposit (DD) payroll has a 2-days lead time. Funds should be withdrawn from your account the day after submitting your payroll by 5 PM PST. Employees receiving bank has until 11:59 PM PST on the paycheck date to post the funds to their account.

On that same page, QBO will send you an email about its status after every payroll run. Mostly you'll receive one discussing the funds weren't withdrawn from your payroll account yet.

In case you haven't received any email notifications about your payroll funds, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Support. They can securely verify your payroll account and trace the status of your funds accordingly. Here's how:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter a few words describing the issue of your payroll funds in the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Click Let's talk.
  5. Choose a channel where you wanted to connect to our specialists.

I'm adding this article to learn more about how to deal with some common direct deposit problems: How to Fix Issues with Direct Deposit in QuickBooks Online Payroll and Intuit Online Payroll?

If you have additional questions about the payroll processes, please don't hesitate to let me know in the comments below. I'll be around ready to answer all of them. Take care and stay safe!
