Question

When trying to add pay dates the salary line is not coming up and it is adding salary pay to overtime rate how can I add salary line ?

Thanks for becoming part of the Community, sherri-jones.
 

You can specify salaries while editing an employees pay types.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. In your left navigation bar, go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Click the employees display name to open their profile.
  3. From your Pay types screen, click Start or Edit.
  4. Choose which pay type(s) you want to add or edit. Use the Pay type ▼ drop-down list for adding or editing their salary.
  5. Enter your rates for each pay type.
  6. If necessary, you can rename some of the types by using your Pencil icons on ones which can be edited.
  7. Select Save.
