Question

When will QBO offer Form 943 as an alternative to Form 941? Until that time, is it possible for QB to file my state payroll taxes while I manually file Federal?

I can help you make anything possible in QuickBooks, jacquijax. Your satisfaction means everything to us.

I see the importance of filing your Form 943 in your QuickBooks Online. As of now, our payroll service team can only generate a worksheet of form 943. As a way around, you’ll want to download the form from the IRS and manually file it. You can run the Tax Liability Report to view your employee's different taxes for reference. To be guided, you can refer to these articles for reference:

I know how helpful your business can be if Form 943 can be included in the forms submitted to you by Intuit. With this, I'll route you to the page where you can post feature requests to our product engineers. It enables our engineers to develop a solution to enhance your overall QuickBooks experience.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the upper right pane
  2. Select Feedback
  3. Type your suggestion in the box and click Next

Many of the program's current features are available because of user feedback. Also, QuickBooks has a website where you can vote on and provide comments on any future suggestions. To access the page, visit this link: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks.

You can also check this article about the supported forms in QBO: Tax payments and forms Intuit payroll submits for you.

Keep me posted if you need further assistance managing your payrolls in QuickBooks. I’ll be right here to help you. Keep safe, jacquijax.
