I can guide you through the steps to access your old 941 form in QuickBooks Online, @tlynch929.

 

You can access the forms you've already filed in the Archived forms section of your account. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Choose the Filings tab.
  3. View your tax forms under Upcoming Filings or select Archived forms and filings.
  4. If available, select Preview to view forms not yet filed.

I download and print my 941 & 940 tax forms. Previously, I've been able to "preview" and download the forms as far back as when I switched to Quickbooks Online (the beginning of 2022, I believe). Now, when I go to find previous forms, I only see the previous 2 quarters (Q3 & Q4 of 2022). Where are the rest??

We'll have to access your Payroll Tax Center to determine why you're unable to view the previously filed tax forms. To ensure the security of your account, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team.

 

They can look into this matter more thoroughly and direct you through the steps for gaining access to the missing payroll forms (941 and 940).

 

To obtain the contact details:

 

  1. In your company, head to the Help icon in the upper right to display the support window.
  2. Choose the Assistant tab and then enter a brief description of your concern in the Type something field.
  3. Click the Get help from a human link and type a phrase or keyword in the What can we help you with? field like missing 941 forms. 
  4. Press the Continue button to view the support options.
  5. Select Chat to initiate a conversation or Callback to speak with an agent.
