I can help you set Federal Withholding in QuickBooks Online (QBO), usersparrowhilloutdo.

 

Federal Withholding is set up in the Employee Information window. I'll show you how below:

  1. Go to the Payroll tab on the left. Then, choose Employees.
  2. In the Employees tab, find and click your employees' names one at a time.
  3. In the Pay tab,
  4. Click the Edit icon (pencil image) in the What are [employee's name] withholdings?
  5. Setup the federal withholding. Click Done.

next to the form W-4 the next square says 2020 and Later but it is greyed out why is that

If you're unable to access this page, let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you're able to access it. Unexpected behaviors around browsers are usually caused by stored cache. To isolate this, open a private window of your browser. This disables cache, as well as browsing history. Here's how:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once logged in, go back and try to check the amount on Line 3 again to double-check, go back to your regular browser, and clear the cache.
