I'm here to help you find the 941 forms filed in QuickBooks Online, @sledonne .

Just a heads up, the available period for archived payroll forms is not unlimited; rather, it extends back to just two years.

To find the filed 941, here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, go to the Payroll Center.
  2. On the left panel, choose the Taxes menu to select Payroll Tax.
  3. In the Forms section, tap the View and Print Archived Forms link under Quarterly Forms.
  4. On the Archived Forms page, click the drop-down to choose Quarterly Tax Forms and 941.
  5. Press the 941 link to open to view more information.
  6. Hit the View menu to open the PDF file.
  7. From there, click the printer icon to print it.

If you still can't find your 941 forms, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online Support to get a copy. However, if you didn't file it on QuickBooks, I recommend reaching out to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Additionally, this article covers all the details on how to see the status of the forms and payments processed in QuickBooks Online: Check e-filing or e-payment status.

Stay in touch if you still need help with payroll forms. I'll be around to lend a helping hand. Keep

The IRS is asking for a copy of 941 March 2021.  I use QB desktop with advanced payroll.  Can you help me?

Thank you for joining this thread, Lisa. I understand how important it is to have access to your previous tax forms. I'm here to guide you through finding the forms quickly and efficiently with the QuickBooks Desktop version.

QuickBooks Desktop Payroll enables you to generate both federal and state payroll tax forms. These can be submitted to the IRS and respective state agencies either electronically or manually,  then print these forms right away. Please note that it's important to have the required payroll updates installed in QuickBooks Desktop to access and generate payroll tax forms.

To access your previously saved forms:

  1. Select the Employees menu, then click Payroll Center.
  2. Choose the File Forms tab.
  3. Under Filing History, hit the Save Filings or E-Filings tab.
  4. Pick the form to view it.

In addition, check this resource that will serve as a valuable reference for wrapping up this year's payroll and preparing for the next year with QuickBooks Desktop Payroll: Year-end checklist for QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.

Feel free to drop by again if you need further assistance with payroll forms or other concerns, Lisa. I'm looking forward to helping you. Have a wonderful day!
