Where in QuickBooks online can the combined tax rate be changed for 2022?

    Hello, Kelly23.

     

    I'll share details and how you can modify the combined tax rate.

     

    Before you edit the information, please take note of the following:

     

    • When you edit a sales tax rate you use on templates, you need to select it again. Otherwise, it won’t apply any sales tax rate.
    • Reports show the data for both rates (before and after) if there are transactions for both rates in a particular period.

    Then, follow these steps to modify the combined rate:

     

    1. Go to Taxes > Sales tax.
    2. Click the Sales tax settings link next to History.
    3. Under the Custom rates section, find the combined rate and select the Edit link.
    4. Modify the rate and press Continue and then Edit.
