Where is the expense category for wages/payroll?

I cannot find the expense category for Business Payroll. Is it called something different. I am in self-employed Quickbooks, but I do also have 1 employee and also pay fees to company to do payroll and filing for me.

Thanks for your insights, angelacpetry22. 

 

I can see how useful that would be for QuickBooks Self-Employed. As of the moment, QBSE has limited features, and the payroll features are part of the current limitation. 

 

That said, it's best to seek professional advice from your accountant or tax advisor for the appropriate category. 

 

Otherwise, you might consider having a different QuickBooks edition if you need payroll features.
