Which payroll?

Hello everyone,

I would really appreciate some advice: We are a small non-profit organization and need to change our payroll subscription by November this year at the latest. Our plan was to switch to enhanced payroll (which has an additional $6 per active employee on top of the annual cost), but I was advised to purchase the QuickBooks desktop Enterprise Gold Edition product. I can't believe this is the cheapest alternative for us (15 employees, basic bookkeeping, basic payroll with the desire to e-file W2s in the future, 1 user). Does anyone here have any ideas on how I don't have to spend $2000 a year? We would not want to do online, but stick with QuickBooks desktop.

    You're right about the amount on top of the annual cost for QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll, @Acht20. I'll share insights about the offered subscription that fits your business.

     

    If you're purchasing a bundle subscription of QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) with Payroll, the support you spoke with is correct that you can only avail of the QBDT Enterprise Gold Edition. If you find this expensive for you in a non-profit organization, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Team to see if there are other options you can avail of.

    They have announced new renewal pricing for QB Desktop Plus and Enhanced Payroll. Unless you only need QB Desktop Plus with Enhanced Payroll for up to 2 users, we calculate that using QB Desktop Enterprise Gold will be cheaper. You should contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA for details. They can help you get a new QB Desktop Enterprise license at a discount and you'll get a 20% discount on renewals. As a bonus, you can ask to pay for your license after installing and running it without any problems.
