Why all of a sudden, can't I pay my federal taxes through QB payroll like I've been doing for years?

The issue of being unable to pay my federal taxes is currently tagged as an ongoing issue. Our Product engineers are now working to resolve this as soon as possible.

For now, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team so they can add you to our notification list. This will help our engineers determine the number of affected users and you'll receive an update through email once this has been resolved. Also, they are able to electronically pay your taxes for you while waiting to fix the problem.

Here's how to contact them:

1. Open your QuickBooks Account.
2. At the top right, click the Help icon.
3. Choose the Assistant section.
4. Type your concern in the Type something field.
5. Click Talk to a human.
6. Click I still need a human.
7. Click the Get help from a human.
8. You'll be routed into the How can we help? page. Then, select how you want to contact them and fill in the information.
