I've got you covered, @jlh-jloganhome-c .

Allow me to provide some insights about payments hold and then guide you on how to get them to your account.

We review payments on a regular basis to ensure that everything is in order. When something unexpected occurs in your transactions, it may result in a payment hold. Below are the common reasons:

  • When your payment processing exceeds the established maximum dollar amount expected on your account.
  • When a transaction is processed after several authorization attempts and failures.
  • When certain transactions require verification of your business type to ensure it complies with the Intuit Acceptable Use Policy.
  • When our systems identify processing patterns that pose a risk to any of the parties involved: you, your customer, or Intuit.

You can go to the Merchant Center to view the status of your funds: I’ll show you how to get there:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. Select Activities & Reports and then choose Deposits.
  3. Set the correct period in the Dates field.
  4. Click Search.

It's on hold if you see the word "Withheld" in the Method column. You’ll get an email that contains comprehensive instructions on what information is required in order for our review to be completed. Make sure to submit any necessary documents as soon as possible.

For more in-depth information about the process, see the following article: Why are my funds on hold?

If you're a new user, we'll deposit your first batch of payments within 5 business days. It takes longer as we set up your account. Then, deposit them much faster once we've set everything up.

Please know that you can always ask me about any topic or other processes in QuickBooks. I'm always ready to work with you again. Have a great rest of the day.
