Why aren't tax payment alerts on the dashboard

Just discovered that I have a payroll tax payment due tomorrow. To late to e-Pay on time. Why are payroll tax payments not alerted on the Dashboard? So many ads and junk I don't use, but one of the most important things is left off?

I hear you, @kjm-inc.

I'm here to make sure you'll be aware of your tax payments.

Tax payment reminders will be displayed in the Task section from your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Dashboard. To ensure you'll file your taxes on time, you might want to check it from time to time.

I understand having the feature to be alerted once your tax payments are due is beneficial to your business. I recommend sending your feedback to our product engineers. This way, they can review your suggestions and might consider adding it in the future updates. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.

In the meantime, you'll want to look for a third-party app that has the feature you need. You can go to the Apps menu and browse for an app from there. You can also utilize our QuickBooks Apps page for additional reference. Once you've found an app, select it and click Get app now to link it to your QBO.

After that, you might want to check out this link for reference in effectively filing your payroll taxes: Pay and file payroll taxes and forms in Online Payroll.

I'm all ears if you have any other concerns or questions about payroll taxes or QuickBooks. Keep me posted by leaving the details in your reply. Keep safe and have a dazzling day ahead!
