Why can't I speak to a manager or supervisor with Quickbooks? I have been put on hold and hung up on twice after being on on the phone over an hour. I was told I couldn't

You can get hold of a supervisor. However, you may have to reach out to our support again to get a hold of one.

In June we decided to give Quickbooks a try. We set up 5 companies with the help of a rep. We were told the price was $150 and would get a 50% off discount for the first year. And we are getting the discount for 4 of the 5 companies. Last month one of our companies started getting billed $150.00. So I called to have this corrected. The first Rep told me I had to start a new company and transfer the data in order for him to give me the rate of $75.00 for a year. He put me transferred me to another rep to set up a new company after I told the first rep that I didn't want to do that. so the second rep put me on hold an hung up on me. So I requested another call back and the next rep said she could give me the 50% off discount but the rates had changed and now the price would be $90 a month. I told her I didn't understand how Quickbooks wasn't able to correct a billing error and i asked for a supervisor. She put me on hold and then hung up on me. so i requested another call back. This rep told me that the best she could do was the $90 price also. I again asked for a supervisor and was told she couldn't transfer me to a supervisor, that what she offered was all that could be done. She said they didn't call their customers back. So I asked for one to e-mail me. So far that hasn't happened. You can look at the other 4 companies we had set up and it is being billed correctly. I just don't understand why the 5th company can't be corrected at what we were quoted when we spoke to the Rep back at the original set up.

Frankly, don't expect them to solve your issue unless you have solid references to claim their "special discount". As far as I know, the deepest discount we can get is 40% off for 6 months.

Sorry to hear about the difficulties. From my experience, I've had the hang up issue with each of the few reps I've talked to, some in India, and a couple in the states. I learned after the first two times to give my phone number immediately and had some luck with the rep calling me back. One guy in Arizona evidently had caller ID. These are call center (some remote) representatives so  understand that the skill level is across the spectrum and the tools available to them can be narrow. I'm just a fellow customer letting you know that its one of those situations that takes talking to the "right person". Its not one of those, I'm calling QB head quarters and talking to QB's team type of situations.

I am so outdone right now!!!  I have talked to two reps today who literally told me that they did not know anything about what I was calling about!! I asked to speak to a supervisor and they would not give me a number nor ask if I wanted one to call me back!!!

I am so upset been on the phone with QB agents for 3 WEEKS! Everyone does the same troubleshooting issues, says that I will receive a call from an agent higher than them and NEVER DO! I am so sick of doing the same thing and them coming up with different solutions and THEY DON'T WORK. I HAVE DONE THE SAME THING WITH EVERY AGENT AND THE OUTCOME IS NO DIFFERENT AND YET THEY CAN NOT HELP ME UNLESS WE DO THE SAME TROUBLESHOOTING ISSUES AS BEFORE. WE ALREADY PAY THE FOR THE INTUIT DATA PROTECTION SO WHY NOONE CAN HELP ME OR GET MANAGMENT TO ASSIT. I AM ABSOLUTELY APPALED AT THE SITUATION AND NO SURE HOW TO PROCEED CAUSE THIS PROCESS IS STUCK ON REPEAT! THE ONLY SOLUTION I CAN THINK IS TO STOP USING QUICKBOOKS ALL TOGETHER

What's holding you back? You can purchase 3rd party conversion services if needed.

Same here. I found 2 major glitches in QB and they only offer QuickBooks Bookkeeper which cost money! I have a bookkeeper at $300 an hour I do not need these foreigners who do not know QB trying to help. They just make it worse or HANG UP!
