Why did the QBO attachments stop opening in a new tab? This is very very annoying. Thanks.

Hi there, Shawn. I understand this can be a challenging experience for you, and I wish you didn't go through this kind of behavior. I'm here to share details about opening attachments in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

I want you to know that there's an ongoing investigation related to this error. Our engineers are working together to fix the issue as quickly as possible. While waiting for the resolution, I recommend contacting our QBO Support. This way, a live representative will add your name to the list of affected users. Once added, you'll automatically receive an email notification of the latest updates.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Help icon.
  3. Select the Search tab and click Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief description of your concern (QBO attachments stop opening in a new tab).
  5. Hit Continue, then choose a way to connect with support.

Once resolved, you're now ready to view your file in a new tab. On the other hand, you may also edit or delete attachments in QBO
