Past employees are in as terminated yet they still show up in the drop down list of employee names in weekly timesheets. How can this be fixed. Very time consuming sifting thru names.

Welcome to the Community, @Sandyslo1.

I can help you rectify your concern about terminated employees in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll. Since their status is terminated, we can make them inactive within your company file. This way, they’ll no longer be visible from your timesheets dropdown list.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to Payroll or Workers in the left navigation bar, then to your Employees screen.
  2. Find and click the employee's name.
  3. Under the Action, press the dropdown icon next to the Edit button.
  4. A prompt message will pop up to confirm the action, then select Yes.

Once done, you can pull up the timesheet again to verify if the specific employee is still showing up on the dropdown list.

Furthermore, you can learn how to turn on and set up time tracking in your QBO by checking out this article: Turn on and set up time tracking in QuickBooks Online
