Why do terminated employees show up on the hourly cost calculator in projects.

I'll share some information about employees showing up on the hourly cost calculator, jason-motteshear.

Terminated employees no longer appear on your active payroll list. But, their profile and pay records remain in your accounts and still appear on reports. I've tried this on my end and found out that terminated employees still show up on the Employee hourly rate page under Projects. However, the slight difference is that for employees who are terminated, it has an asterisk before the first letter of the name. I've added a screenshot for your visual guide:
