Why is it not accepting that I am finished after 2 employees?

As an initial troubleshooting, check the employees' profiles and make sure they're complete, including tax information. This reference contains a checklist of the tasks you'll need to accomplish: Get started with QuickBooks Online Payroll.

If everything is complete, launch the online program in a private window or incognito mode. These browser sessions do not retain local files or cache. Thus, eliminating the potential of a webpage issue.

Here are the shortcut keys:

• Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you no longer see the Finish Adding To Your Team message in private browsing, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache to start fresh. Otherwise, using other supported browsers can be a good alternative too.

If none of these suggestions work, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team. One of our specialists will help you sign up to the notification list of affected users. You'll be notified via email once there's progress in the investigation.

To contact support: 

1. In your company, head to the Help icon in the upper right to display the support window.
2. Choose the Assistant tab and then enter a brief description of your concern in the Type something field.
3. Click the Get help from a human link and type a phrase or keyword in the field box. 
4. Press the Continue button to view the support options.
5. Select Chat to start a conversation and Callback to speak with an agent.
