I’ve got you covered, modern.

Let me share some insights about utilizing mileage in QuickBooks Online (QBO). If the vehicle is linked to a trip, it shows up and stays linked to it regardless of this being inactive. You’ll want to check out this article for more details: Set up vehicles and mileage tracking in the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

Since you mentioned that there is no mileage attached to it. I recommend performing troubleshooting steps. This resolve will help eliminate the common errors that prevent the application to perform well.

To start, please open a private window of your browser to get started. It pinpoints the cache that frequently results in strange behavior from browsers. Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

Once done, log in to your account in this setup and proceed to clear the cache in the browser to prevent this from happening again. If you have another supported browser, you can choose that instead.

Let me know if you have more questions about taxes and mileage. I’ll be around to address them accordingly. Have a great day!

I cleared the cache and now I cannot locate any vehicle information for my account. When I go to the Taxes tab, no information displays, I only see a blank screen.
