I’m glad to assist you so you’ll be able to run payroll in QuickBooks, @balloonbarncle-g.

As long as your payroll subscription is active, you can check the boxes when you process payroll.

The online platform uses the browser’s cache to run faster. However, these can sometimes become corrupted, which affects the platform's functionalities. You can perform some troubleshooting steps to get this function back to a working state.

Let’s open your QuickBooks Online account in a private or incognito window for testing. Refer to the shortcut keys below for quick navigation:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

Once logged in, try to run payroll and then mark the boxes. If it’s working, get back to your regular browser and clear its cache to start fresh. Also, you can use other supported browsers as an alternative and our Browser Health Checkup tool to make sure the application runs seamlessly.

QuickBooks offers a list of payroll reports that generate information about your business and employees. These reports can provide details about individual employees and can be easily exported to share and print.

Don’t hesitate to let me know if you have other payroll concerns or questions. I’m always here to help. Have a good one!
