Maintaining accurate payroll information is crucial for ensuring on-time employee payments and accurate tax records, Wilson. I'm here to help you resolve this issue and get your payroll back on track.

Please know that there are reasons why your payroll isn't updating. This includes the following:

  • Outdated QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) versions
  • Internet Connection Issues
  • Subscription Status

Considering that you have already taken steps to restart the software and verify your internet connection, I recommend updating your QBDT to the most recent release. Afterward, create a backup copy of your company file before sending your usage data for the fix.

Whenever you're ready, please perform the steps below:

  1. Go to Employees, select My Payroll Service, then select Send Usage Data. If you don’t see this option, follow the next step.
  2. Go to Employees, then select Send Payroll Data.
  3. In the Send/Receive Payroll Data window, select Send All. Enter your payroll service pin if prompted.
  4. If the send is successful, get payroll updates again.

If the issue persists, we can troubleshoot this by running the Verify and Rebuild Data functions within your company file. This process helps identify and fix any data integrity issues preventing payroll updates.

Once resolved, you can generate and execute your payroll in QBDT to make sure that your payroll reflects the updated information.

Please keep me updated on your progress, and let me know if you have further questions about payroll updates in QBDT. I'm always here to help whenever you need support.
