I see the new rate and choose it from the drop down, add effective date of 1-1-24 and hit save and it wont save the rate, it defaults back to the prior rate

I appreciate your effort to update the Washington Family paid medical leave rate, Change.

I'm here to help you connect with the right support team that can assist in making the required rate changes on your behalf.

You can send your payroll tax notice to us so one of our Payroll experts can change it for you. I'll guide you through the steps for uploading your notice to your payroll product (if you use our payroll service).

  1. Navigate to the Payroll tab and select Payroll tax.
  2. Click Resources.
  3. Select Tax Notice.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to send your notice to us.

Once we receive the tax notice, we will send an email confirmation to the Principal Officer and Primary Admin listed on file, along with a case number and further details. Upon completion, a tax specialist will send another email containing the necessary resolution, any actions taken on your behalf, and any additional steps required from you (if applicable). Please be aware that the response will only be sent to the Primary Officer or Primary Admin.

You also have the option to reach out to our Payroll Support for further information on this process.

Additionally, I have provided resources to help you complete this year's payroll, prepare for the next, close the previous fiscal year, and get ready for the new one in QuickBooks Online.

Keep me posted if you have other concerns with payroll in QuickBooks. I'll be here to provide you with the support you need. Keep safe.
