Let me enlighten you on how sick and safe time works in QuickBooks Online (QBO), matt.

 

When it's time to run payroll, and you have salaries employees who took sick or vacation leave, you can add them before you process payroll. Then, QBO will automatically recalculate your employee's total pay to keep everything accurate.
