Question

With weekly timesheets, can you copy a time sheet and change the employee name and not have to retype all the same information into individuals time sheet?

If I have 34 employees working the same job and same hours do I have to enter a sheet for each one. Can you enter one employee and then "make a copy" and change the employee name and save?

Yes, you can, @sbpapania. There's an option to copy your previous timesheet on QuickBooks Time. I'd be glad to guide you through the process.

  1. Go to the +New button.
  2. Select Weekly Timesheet.
  3. Choose an Employee or Vendor.
  4. Set the date range.
  5. Fill out the necessary information in the table.
  6. Once done, click Copy last timesheet.
  7. Hit Save.

Also, I suggest this helpful article outlining the steps to export or import historical time data from or into your account using a CSV to help save time: Export or import time data in QuickBooks Time.

Should you have any other queries besides making a copy of your weekly timesheet, feel free to leave a reply. We're still ready to back you up.
