Withholding Number for Indiana

I received my Indiana Withholding tax number. It is only 10-digits. Quickbooks says error and that it requires 13-digit withholding number. HELP! I need to run payroll! 🙂 Is all of Indiana's Withholding numbers 10-digits? I saw where someone posted in Texas that Quickbooks had a glitch with their Withholding number (their number was 11 digits but QB only allowed 9, etc)

QuickBooks Online Payroll follows the recommended Tax ID Format that's required by your state. Based on their website, this state requires a 13 digit Tax ID number. 

 

It's possible that the tax number that they've provided isn't intended for Indiana's Tax ID number. I'd suggest getting in touch with your tax agency to confirm if the actual Tax ID that they've given is correct.
