Pay As You Go is integrated into QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP). It helps automate workers’ compensation premiums so you never miss a deadline. The exact premium cost of your policy is calculated based on your actual payroll data. That amount is automatically withdrawn from your bank account and sent directly to your insurance provider.

I have not personally used Next but thought I should chime in.  I owned multiple small businesses for almost 20 years and was required by my state to carry worker's comp.  A couple of things to consider:

1) Insurance companies are great at giving an attractive introductory rate, only to make up for it with rate increases in subsequent years.  There's no way to know if that's going to happen so just be aware.

2) If calling an 800# or using online chat are the only two options to contact the company, I would be very cautious of using them.  Or, at the very least, understand that you do not have a local agent that you can call that will go to bat for you in order to get what you need.  There is nothing more frustrating than having to sit on hold to talk to someone that doesn't know you or your business and having to re-explain your concern on each subsequent call.  A local agent knows you and your business and relies on you for their income and, therefore, tends to serve you better.  Just my $.02.
