Workforce - payrol

2 problems 

 

1. Get this message when the admin person tries to access workforce.   They are employees and have admin rights.   

"Looks like you don't have a workforce employee account (which they do). The email you entered belongs to an admin account.  Only employees can have access their workforce account. " How do they get access to workforce- a second email is not an option. 

 

2.   I have sent a invite to another employee to join workforce.  They don't get the email.  They have looked in spam  trash etc.    I have sent it multiple times.   Any suggestions how for them to get access to workforce ?

I am here to assist you in resolving the error your workforce employee is facing while accessing their account and guide your other employee to accept the email invitation you sent to them. 

 

To resolve the error your admin person is having, you can let them reset their password. They'll just have to click the I forgot my user ID or password link from the sign-in page.

 

Here are the steps: 

 

  1. Go to this page: QuickBooks Workforce.
  2. Click the I forgot my user ID or password link.
  3. Enter your email address used by your employer during your first sign-up.
  4. You'll receive an account recovery email.
  5. Access your email and click Reset password.

About the email invitation your other employee was not able to receive after checking their spam or junk folder and making sure the email address is correct, make sure they use a different email for Workforce than the one they use to sign in to QuickBooks Online.
