Thanks for posting your concern here in the Community space. Let me give you insights regarding the issue you're experiencing with your payroll subscription in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The error you're receiving occurs when your payroll subscription expires. I suggest verifying your billing and subscription status immediately. Then, resubscribe to your QuickBooks payroll subscription if necessary. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Choose Billing & Subscription, then Resubscribe for payroll.
  3. After reviewing the Subscription summary, enter your payment information and method.
  4. If done, click Resubscribe.

Check this link to learn more about fixing inactive payroll subscriptions: Reactivate your QuickBooks Payroll subscription.

On the other hand, you can refer to this link as your reference in handling paychecks inside QBO: Print or reprint paychecks and pay stubs.

Reply to this post for more questions about your payroll subscription inside QBO. I'll be here to assist you. Keep safe!
