Question

An employee started working on the 1st October and will be paid monthly. The first payroll will be on the 21st October. How do I payroll for the two weeks.

Hello lee-twpc,

 

Can you share with me what type of payroll subscription you're currently using for your employees? Do you have the Advanced or Standard version? Any additional information you can add will help ensure a timely solution.

 

For the remaining days of the month from 21 onward, I recommend running the payroll separately. You'll be able to enter the total hours for the two weeks to the next payroll run.

  1. Log into your QuickBooks account.
  2. Click the Help option in the upper-right corner, and click hit the Contact us.
  3. Enter necessary information, then select Let's talk.
