can anyone tell me how to delete a rule please, asking qb is like trying to extract teeth with tweezers

I’m here to guide you in deleting your bank rules in QuickBooks Online. Feel free to follow the steps I've listed below:

 

  1. Select Banking from the sidebar menu.
  2. Go to the Rules tab, then find the rule you want to remove.
  3. Under the Actions column, click the drop-down arrow beside Edit. 
  4. Select Delete, then choose Yes to confirm the action.

I dont have banking in my sidebar menu so cant work out how to delete a transaction rule?  Can anyone help?

Hello Beth-bethallen, thanks for posting on this thread, so you might be saying the word “transaction” instead of banking. If you click on transaction you will then see the option for banking.
