Can i add a payment which shows on my statment but not on a bank

You can definitely add a banking transaction in QBO to reflect what's on your statement, gillmcgillivray.

There are also two options on how you can record it. I'd be glad to share the steps with you.

First, create a check or a bill payment if you have an open bill. Here's how:

1. Click the + New button and select Pay Bills. 
2. Select the open bill.
3. Look for Save and close and click on it.

Second, you can download a CSV copy of the banking transactions and import them in QBO. Let me give you these articles as a guide:
