Can I change my country configuration?, I migrate form UK Desktop version and QB online appears as UK location.

Allow me to join in on the conversation to shed some light on your question.

 

Just like what my colleague @Angelyn_T mentioned in her comment above, there's no way to migrate your QBDT company file from one region going to another. Since you mentioned your company profile is in China then you'll need to subscribe to QBO International.

I'd be glad to help share information about migrating from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

For me to verify this further, are you trying to migrate your QBDT UK data to QBO US? If so, there isn't an option to migrate it that way. Since your QBDT subscription is UK then when migrating it to QBO, the version would also be in UK.

 

If you wish to use the US version, then, you may need to sign up a new account for QBO US. In this case, your QBDT UK data won't be migrated since the location is different. You have to input the information manually.

    Thanks Angelyn for your feedback, in fact we already made the migration to QBO from QBDT, we used UK QBDT obviously QBO determinate UK as default but my  company profile is in China so address, post code and phone are not valid by QBO, then we can not pay the subscription. Error All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. Company Profile CIMMYT - CHINA 12 Zhongguancan South Street Beijing Province 100081 ​[removed] Save
