Question

Can I have 2 costs rates for 1 employee? Our workshop cost rate is one figure, but if the guys go out on site the cost rate is less. Thanks.

This is on Projects and the hourly cost rate (not billable rate) per employee.  All our projects where we send guys on site currently show a loss because our site costs are less than our workshop costs.  I would like to be able to have 2 cost rates per employee.

Currently, it is only possible to have one cost rate per employee at a time on the Projects feature in QuickBooks Online. 

 

We can see how this would be beneficial for your business and recommend submitting feedback to our Product team by selecting the Gear > Feedback in your account.
