Hi

Have you actually tried this yourself... And i'm also getting confused as one person says you can't do it, and then the next person says you can.  As you can see from picture, it doesn't work what you are saying.

So if you think it does, please upload a picture of the pay slip with it not showing., otherwise just say it doesn't. This is for the UK, not USA of anywhere else... UK. And its QuickBooks Advanced Payroll, on the Web, Cloud etc.

Thank you for posting here in the Community, @IanUK.

Allow me to provide some clarifications about your payroll concern in QuickBooks Online.

Currently, an option to remove the Hours Paid field from the salaried employees' payslips is unavailable. For now, the system is designed to include this type of information for the payroll.

I appreciate your input on this feature. I want you to know that we always update the features in QuickBooks Online, and this preference might be added in the future.

As we check on this, I recommend you visit our QuickBooks Blog to stay updated with all the changes that are being made.

In the meantime, you can check the following article for some links about the payroll tasks in QuickBooks Online: QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll Hub.

Please don't hesitate to let me know in the comment section below if you have any other questions. Have a great day ahead.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, @accounts274.

To ensure we're on the same page, can you please verify what payroll provider you're currently using? This is to ensure I'd be able to provide the best resolution for you.

Also, I recommend checking the set up of the employee to confirm if the pay type is Salary or Hourly since this two are different.

Moreover, I don’t want to leave you empty-handed, you'll want to visit our Community Help Articles hub in case you need some related articles in managing your account.

You can always get back to me if you have any other payroll questions, I'm more than happy to help. Have a wonderful day and take care.

Why don't you just answer the question they are asking. Its obviously they are using QuickBooks Online, and all they want to do is not have the Stupid Hours showing on the Payslips !  (I wantto do the same thing)

I have just moved to QuickBooks Online from Desktop and i'm sure no one in Intuit actually uses it, as I have found so many annoying things !.

And no, I do not want to REACH OUT to anyone ! I'm British
