Can i transfer monthly to payroll for an employee

Yes, you can still update your payroll schedule in QuickBooks, @annavalentine.

 

I'll show you the steps on how you can edit your employees pay schedule in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Employees menu, then click Payroll Centre.
  2. Under the Create Payroll payments table, select the payroll schedule you want to update.
  3. From the Payroll Schedules drop-down, click Edit Schedule.
  4. Make the necessary updates in the Edit Payroll Schedule window.
  5. Select Yes to update the payroll schedule for all the employees assigned to it.
  6. Click OK.

 

Please take note that if you change the dates from the Enter Payroll Information window, the changes will only affect the current pay period. It will also won't take effect on the next upcoming pay period dates for the payroll schedule on the Payroll Centre's Pay Employees tab.

 

However, you can edit or update directly the Edit Payroll Schedule window to affect all upcoming payroll schedules.
