Can leave be pre-booked for the next financial year?

It seems that it is not possible for employees to book holiday in the next F/Y? only in the current F/Y. Also, leave remaining is not correct until the payroll is run for that period.

Any ideas if there is a workaround for this or is it inherent on the system (which seems mad).

Hi Cliffwestworks, thanks for joining the Community - it's only possible for employees to book leave for the current leave year in QuickBooks Online Payroll. The leave balances are designed to update once the payroll has been finalised for the period.
