When I create a dimensions it asks me to 'link' values. I do not know what 'values' do?

You're already on the right path, Catherine.

Let me provide you with information about using dimensions and values in QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll.

A dimension in Advanced Payroll helps you organize information based on different categories, like locations, departments, or projects. Dimension values, on the other hand, are the specifics. So, let's say your dimension is "location." The dimension values would be the actual places, like "London" or "Manchester." Similarly, if your dimension is "department," the dimension values would be things like "Sales" or "Marketing." It's like having labeled folders for each category, making it super easy to find exactly what you're looking for in your payroll records.

For more detailed information about dimensions and values, you can visit this article: How to use dimensions in QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll.
