JOURNALS TO THE WAGES EXPENSES, EMPLOYER PENSION AND EMPLOYER NAT INS ARE NOT ADJUSTING THE CUMULATIVE BALANCES SHOWN AT TOP OF PAYROLL SCREEN. ONLY ADJUSTING IF AUTO UPDATED WHEN PAYROLL IS RUN. IS THERE ANY WAY OF UPDATING THIS?

I’m glad to share some information with you, @-elpa-org-uk.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), Journal entry is usually used to transfer amounts between accounts and to enter debits and credits manually.

Also, it won’t be included in the Payroll screen. It’ll only reflect into the account associated with your payroll.

You can contact our Payroll Support to check this further. Our representatives can provide information to ensure payroll records is accurate.

Here’s how:

  1. Select the Help menu.
  2. In the Assistant window, type in “Talk to a human.”
  3. Click the Contact button, then Live Chat/Call me back option.
  4. Enter your brief concern in the field.
  5. Choose a way to connect with our representatives.

Our QBO Advanced Payroll hub contains information and helpful tools to manage your payroll. You can check each to learn more.

I’ll be here anytime to help if you have other payroll questions or concerns. Just add them to your reply below. Always take care!
