Question

Can you recommend a third-party app or a workaround to upload QuickBooks data into DATEV for filing tax returns in Germany?

thiHi isabella-kniss-g Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community. We're not able to recommend a third-party app that will upload the data within QuickBooks to DATEV, there maybe a Community member that reads this post and could recommend something. Depending on what information is required to be submitted to DATEV you could run the VAT 100 report, export it to excel and upload it to DATEV.

We've included an article on how to export reports from QuickBooks for your reference.https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-uk/help-article/report-management/export-reports-excel-quickbooks-online/L7iAoP97n_GB_en_GB?uid=m2bttvpz

@isabella-kniss-g

You need to have another accounting app to file report to DATEV. You may have 2 options

1. Use a 3rd party connector to mirror your data automatically from QBO to this accounting app.

2. Replace QBO with this accounting app completely. You can purchase a 3rd party conversion service. Then you may consider having a BI app to consolidate report from QBO and this accounting app.
