Let's connect your Starling bank to QuickBooks Online (QBO), sales-visign-co-.

You may have an issue finding or connecting to your bank if:

  • Your bank has multiple names on our list. Make sure you have selected the correct listing or have tried all possible links. Search by the banking sign-in URL to ensure you are using the correct listing.
  • Your bank does not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs business accounts).
  • Your bank is not a participating financial institution.

Sometimes, a financial institution has multiple bank names or it might have different types of accounts. But, choose only to release one website for connection to QBO.

One solution is to try other versions of your financial institution that are listed:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Link account or Add account.
  3. Enter the name of your financial institution. When it appears, select it from the list.
  4. Select the link to go to your bank's website. This opens a new window.
  5. Make sure you can access your account through this site. See if you can view your account summary, account history, and account details without any errors.
  6. If you can access everything, sign out of the financial institution's website.
  7. Go back and continue to add the account in QBO.

If you have tried all the options matching your bank's name and still can't connect, you can send us a request for the connection. Here's are the steps:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Link account or Add account.
  3. Search for the name of your financial institution.
  4. f QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks," and you will be presented with helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
  5. If you’re still unable to find your bank, click Request support for your bank.
  6. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.

For now, you can download transactions from Starling's website. Then, manually upload them to QuickBooks Online. Check out these links for instructions and detailed steps:
