Hi

I am new to using advanced payroll - only submitted one pay run so far.  I am looking to show contractor  CIS deductions on the EPS but can't see an obvious way to do this?  I am taking over from an agent who was doing this for us so would like to add YTD values too really.

Thanks

We'll have to turn this feature on so QuickBooks will calculate your CIS deduction, mt33.

I've got the steps on how to do it:

  1. Click the Gear icon, and then select Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Advanced tab.
  3. Click the pencil (edit) icon on the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) section.
  4. Toggle the box.
  5. Enter the required fields.
  6. Click Save, and then Done.

Afterwards, we'll have to add a contractor or subcontractor. Then, we can create a CIS transactions. This help us to calculate the CIS on the EPS. You can also use this article so you'll be guided accordingly: CIS in QuickBooks.

I'm just right here if you have other questions with the process.
