Does Advanced Payroll allow me to store my employees' bank details and trigger payments to them when I complete pay runs?

Let me share some information on how to add bank details and pay your employees, @tiffanycarol.

 

In QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll, you can set up your BACS settings where you can make payments from one bank account to another.

 

You can set up their banking details using the Employee wizard. Here’s how to set your BACS:

  1. Go to your Payroll Settings menu and choose BACS Settings. Click Add to create a new set of BACS settings for your business.
  2. Once you’ve selected the correct BACS settings, click Generate BACS.

After you finalised a pay run, click the Download BACS button from the pay run actions bar. This will let you generate a BACS file. It does not make the payments, you would need to then pass on the Bacs file to your bank.
